Turn the Page was founded by Donamarie Oligino, LISW-CP, with a vision of creating more than a counseling practice. She wanted to build a place where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported, and where compassionate clinicians work together to care for the whole person—not simply a diagnosis or a list of symptoms.
Throughout more than 20 years of clinical practice, Donamarie recognized that many clients were making meaningful emotional progress while still struggling with chronic stress, poor sleep, nutrition, hormonal changes, and other health factors that influenced their overall well-being. Wanting to better understand these connections, she pursued advanced education in genetics-based wellness, nutrition, and functional medicine principles through physician-led training in integrative and functional medicine.
That education helped shape Turn the Page’s Whole-Person Wellness services—an educational offering that complements psychotherapy and traditional medical care by helping clients better understand the connection between lifestyle, overall health, and emotional well-being.
Today, Turn the Page Health & Wellness is home to a team of compassionate clinicians who share one belief: every person deserves care that is as unique as their story. We don’t believe people should have to fit into a treatment model—we believe care should be tailored to the individual.
Clinical approaches grounded in established therapeutic methods.
Licensed therapists with distinct areas of expertise.
Care that recognizes the connection between emotional and physical well-being.
Flexible care options for clients throughout South Carolina.
Healing rarely happens by addressing one isolated symptom.
We begin by listening. Before recommending a path forward, we take time to understand your experiences, strengths, goals, and the factors shaping your life. From there, we create an individualized plan that reflects your unique needs.
Our minds and bodies continually influence one another. Emotional stress can affect sleep, relationships, energy, and physical health. Likewise, physical health challenges and lifestyle factors can influence emotional well-being.
For clients seeking additional support, our Whole-Person Wellness services provide personalized education and guidance focused on nutrition, sleep, stress, genetics, and other lifestyle factors that influence overall well-being. These educational services are designed to complement—not replace—the care provided by your physician or mental health provider.
Our therapists bring different areas of expertise while sharing one commitment: providing compassionate, evidence-based care that meets each client where they are.
